This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a passion for finance and a knack for managing complex financial processes.Job ResponsibilitiesGST Filing and Compliance:Prepare and submit accurate and timely GST returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.Verify and review GST-related documents, invoices, and receipts to guarantee accuracy and adherence to company policies.Maintain awareness of changes in GST regulations and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve GST-related queries or issues efficiently.Employee Payroll Management:Oversight of the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholding.Maintenance and update of employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.Management of payroll tax deductions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Addressing employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.Bookkeeping and Financial Records:Accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Maintenance of general ledger entries, ensuring all financial activities are properly documented.Reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly.Generation of financial reports and statements, providing insights to management on financial performance.Financial Analysis and Reporting:Assistance in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaboration with the finance team to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Support for the preparation of financial statements and reports required for audits and statutory compliance.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensuring compliance with all relevant Indian accounting and tax regulations.Maintenance of awareness about changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.Assistance with external audits and provision of necessary documentation and information as required.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaboration with various departments to gather financial data and insights for decision-making.Work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve overall financial efficiency.
