Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our products, services, and processes. This includes user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, FAQs, and internal documentation. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and support teams to understand complex information and communicate it effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as:
  • User guides and manuals
  • API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman)
  • Knowledge base articles and FAQs
  • Internal process documentation
  • Release notes and changelogs
  • Work closely with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to gather technical information.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into simple, user-friendly content.
  • Edit, standardize, or revise content to meet standards and ensure consistency of tone, structure, and style.
  • Use tools like Markdown, Confluence, Git, Adobe FrameMaker, or MadCap Flare.
  • Maintain version control and ensure documentation is updated regularly.
  • Participate in product testing and review to understand features from a user's perspective.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and tools (Agile, Git, APIs, SDLC).
  • Experience working with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, DITA, Markdown, etc.).
  • Ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
