For our dSPACE business in India, we are looking for a Technical Manager (eMobility, HIL) at our Bangalore, and Pune locations for full-time employment.


In this role, you will be the Specialist for all Applications related to Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) and Hardware in loop Systems (HIL). This will cover a wide range of applications, one among which is eDrive solutions. You can get involved in Business Development and Pre-Sales, as well as performing Application Engineering in customer projects and providing Support to customers.


As an expert, you will mentor the eMobility team, for which you will use your experience working with dSPACE tools and other outside experiences working on projects and various others. Besides bringing in your domain knowledge, you will have the chance to assume lateral leadership responsibilities.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Subject-Matter expert in eMobility - RCP and HIL Tool chain
  • Customer support in RCP and HIL in related Hardware and Software
  • Comprehend dSPACE tools for end-user in the areas of Electric Motor, Battery, and Charging
  • Python Automation
  • product demonstration and develop eMobility, POCs.
  • Involvement in Pre-Sales and Business Development
  • Promotion to customer and market
  • Analysis of customer requirements to develop technical proposals for customers in collaboration with the Sales Team
  • Subject-Matter contact for Other - RCP and HIL Tool support.
  • Conventional vehicle domains like body, chassis, engine, network and other
  • Other industries like Robotics, Aerospace, Appliances, etc.
  • Support the eMobility-Team in scaling up.
  • Technical guidance, training, and mentoring
  • Involvement in the candidate selection process
  • Building networks and coordinating global exchange


Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree with relevant engineering experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in a related field if BS candidate and 6 Years experience for MS Candidate
  • Experience with dSPACE Products (and other) for RCP and HIL applications
  • Intermediate level MATLAB Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Python, FPGA, Vehicle communication protocols
  • Automotive technology - industry and market awareness
  • Ability to teach/mentor others.
  • Effective communication skills in English in an intercultural environment
  • Willingness to travel within India.
