About the Role:

Getinge is seeking an experienced Senior HIL Test Engineer to join our team. As HIL Senior Test engineer, you will be an extended part of the Product development team working at IIC to create HIL automation test bench for the Embedded Medical Device and work towards the project deliverables and product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Development of HIL Test Setup for testing Electronic Hardware and firmware.
  • Responsible for requirement analysis, effort estimation and work breakdown.
  • Responsible for writing Test specification, Test automation in HIL environment, execution of Test automation and reporting of test defects.
  • Responsible for all activities of the Hardware-in-Loop test team with aim to improve overall Competency within the team.
  • Report writing and presenting technical information to wide audience.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory standards, brand guidelines and design best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 8 to 10 years of Experience as HIL test engineer/ Embedded Test Engineer/ Test Lead.
  • Able to design, develop and test Embedded/ HIL test systems.
  • Good understanding of HIL simulation using tools like LabVIEW, MATLAB Simulink.
  • Test automation framework expertise on Python and LabVIEW.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Embedded C/C++.
  • Able to write automation scripts.
  • Understanding of electronics Firmware and Hardware design.
