Remote Accounting OpportunityAs a highly skilled accounting professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company that values autonomy and growth potential.This full-time, permanent role is responsible for managing all aspects of U.S. accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, tax compliance, payroll administration, and entity setup.Key responsibilities include:• Overseeing daily and monthly accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end close, accruals, and reporting• Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP• Establishing internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with IRS and state regulations• Managing payroll using systems like Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, etc., ensuring proper worker classification (W-2 vs. 1099)• Coordinating with clients on entity setup, including LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, and Partnership setup, as well as EIN registration, S-Corp elections, state filings, and compliance• Providing exceptional client service, building long-term relationships based on trust and expertiseRequired skills and qualifications include:• 5+ years of U.S. accounting and tax filing experience• Strong experience with corporate and partnership returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065, K-1s)• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, and payroll platforms• Demonstrated ability to create systems or processes from scratch• Strong communication and leadership skills• Ability to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesBenefits include:• Fully remote work-from-home opportunity• Major growth potential, with opportunities for advancement to senior leadership roles• Direct involvement in building processes, systems, and teams• High autonomy with real decision-making authority
