Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled network architect with expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-native platforms, particularly on-premises environments. Key areas of focus include bare-metal networking, advanced NAT (SNAT) configurations, Calico, Cilium, Multus, MetalLB, and Istio. Additionally, the engineer should be well-versed in DNS in virtualized environments, SR-IOV, DPDK for high-performance workloads, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and load balancing. Experience with Cisco VXLAN, Arista fabrics, Kubernetes ingress/egress, traffic routing, and manipulation is also essential. The successful candidate will have experience integrating clusters and network underlays, tenant networking with Cisco and Arista, and platform operations and observability. OpenShift/OpenStack tenant preparation for app onboarding, Prometheus and Grafana monitoring at tenant level, and familiarity with Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) and container platforms are necessary. Furthermore, the ability to design cloud-native platforms for scale, reliability, and performance is crucial.
