They will be AAT qualified or have completed a recognised UK bookkeeping course, with a proven track record of working accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate professionally with our team. If you are a motivated and detail-focused individual with a passion for bookkeeping, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Record and categorise expenses, petty cash, and receipts using XeroRaise and generate invoices, ensuring correct reconciliationLink and reconcile bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal, and other platformsAttach invoices and documents to Xero entries with accurate referencesEnsure all referencing is clear and traceableManage the invoice process from creation to tracking and paymentReconcile transactions regularly to keep books up to dateEnsure compliance with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelinesWhat You'll Need:2-3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (UK-based work preferred)Proficiency in Xero (including reconciliation, bank feed setup, invoice attachment, etc.)AAT qualification or completion of a recognised UK bookkeeping courseStrong knowledge of UK tax rules, expense categories, and accounting standardsHighly organised, accurate, and able to triple-check your workWhat We Offer:Full-time, remote role (40 hours/week)Competitive monthly salary based on experienceOngoing support, training, and developmentCalm, supportive team with clear systemsOpportunity to grow into a senior finance role over time
