NOVARGI Indian branch, is mainly focused on Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities.


Job Overview:


The Junior Logistics Coordinator assists with the planning, organization, and oversight of logistics activities to support projects and operations in the oil and gas industry.

Reporting to the procurement manager on the site, this role involves coordinating the movement of materials, handling inventory, and working with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of critical components for engineering and field operations.


Location: Gurgaon, India


Key Responsibilities:

Shipment and Delivery Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating shipments of materials and equipment to project sites, including tracking and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Schedule transportation for materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents, customs documentation, and compliance records.
  • Provide on-site support as needed to oversee logistics at project locations.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoing projects and emergency needs.
  • Record, track, and organize equipment and parts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Report inventory status to the logistics manager and assist in planning for future requirements.

Supplier and Vendor Relations:

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage supplier orders and track the shipment progress.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues.
  • Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and tracking performance for service improvement.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental regulations for all shipments.
  • Update logistics databases and document all transactions accurately for audits.

Reporting and Administrative Support:

  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics activities.
  • Support logistics team in planning routes, scheduling, and managing unexpected challenges.


About your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience between 3 to 5 years in logistics, ideally within oil and gas, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
