The role ensures smooth workflow within the warehouse and coordination with logistics, procurement, and quality teams.Key Responsibilities / DutiesSupervise daily warehouse operations: receiving, unloading, checking, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching goodsEnsure goods received match purchase orders (quantity, quality, documentation)Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and periodic audits to reconcile discrepanciesOrganize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization, accessibility, and safetyCoordinate with logistics/transport vendors for inbound and outbound shipmentsMonitor and ensure SOP compliance for all warehouse processes (material handling, stock movement, packaging)Assign tasks, monitor performance, and supervise warehouse staffHandle documentation: GRNs, stock transfer forms, dispatch documents, material movement logsGenerate regular reports: stock status, damage/spoilage, order fulfillment, delaysIdentify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize operationsEnsure warehouse safety, hygiene, and security (e.g. fire safety, pest control, theft prevention)Liaise with procurement, quality assurance, and sales teams for material requirements and delivery schedulesManage returns, rejections, and damaged stock handlingEnsure compliance with regulatory / statutory norms as applicableQualifications & Experience
