Our team is seeking a versatile part-time data analyst with expertise in Power BI, SQL, Google Sheets, and data engineering to support our business growth.Job Description:As a part-time data analyst, you will independently own analytics and reporting work across various tools and platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include developing dashboards from scratch using Power BI, leveraging Power Query for data transformation, and building well-structured data models. You will also be responsible for writing advanced DAX for KPIs, time-intelligence, and business logic, configuring row-level security, scheduled refresh, and incremental refresh.In addition to your work with Power BI, you will utilize SQL to write clean, optimized queries combining multiple datasets. You will perform tasks such as de-duplication, grouping, time-based metrics, trend analysis, date/time conversions, timestamp harmonization, and business-rule logic. Furthermore, you will help clean and prepare backend datasets for Power BI.You will also work with operational data stored in Google Sheets, applying advanced formulas (QUERY, FILTER, ARRAYFORMULA, REGEX, etc.). Your tasks will include structuring Sheets for ingestion into Power BI, automating repetitive steps using Apps Script or other solutions, and building helper/staging sheets for data cleaning and quality assurance.Lastly, you will establish data engineering foundations through the integration of external systems via REST APIs, normalization of unstructured SaaS data, and troubleshooting data flow breaks. You will ensure continuity of pipelines and provide quality checks to ensure stable reporting.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAXProficiency in SQL, including query writing and optimizationStrong understanding of data engineering principles, including data integration and pipeline managementAbility to apply advanced formulas in Google Sheets and automate repetitive tasks using Apps Script or other solutionsBenefits:This role offers flexible part-time hours and end-to-end ownership of analytics and reporting work.
