Senior SoC Physical Implementation Specialist

Job Role: Senior Physical Design EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the physical design implementation of SoC subsystems, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and optimization to meet PPA goals.Responsibilities:Owning the physical design implementation of SoC subsystems, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and optimization to meet PPA goals.Collaborating with RTL, DFT, and IP teams to ensure seamless subsystem integration and resolve physical design issues that impact overall system performance.Working closely with the Full Chip physical verification team to resolve DRC, LVS, and antenna rule violations, ensuring compliance with top level specifications.Leading clock tree synthesis, managing clock skew, insertion delay, and ensuring timing closure across all corners and modes. Addressing timing violations and signal integrity issues.Implementing power-saving techniques, such as power gating, multi-voltage domains, and clock gating, to achieve low-power targets while maintaining performance.Developing and optimizing custom scripts in Tcl, Perl, or Python to streamline physical design tasks and improve workflow efficiency.Mentoring and guiding junior physical design engineers, sharing best practices and providing technical guidance to improve team efficiency and expertise.Required Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have:Proven experience in physical design, with a focus on SoC development.Strong understanding of digital logic design, including synthesis, place-and-route, and signal integrity.Familiarity with EDA tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Design Compiler, and Mentor Graphics Calibre.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.BenefitsAs a member of our team, you will enjoy:A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.OthersIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for physical design, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Thank you for considering this job role
