5G IMS Voice and Messaging Engineer RoleThis position is responsible for managing initiatives around operational delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of 3GPP specifications, a deep understanding of 4G and 5G-IMS Core Nodes, and the ability to create thorough test plans for testing LTE EPC and 5G Core node functionalities.Key Responsibilities:Create test scripts using available test tools and familiarize yourself with their functionality.Build test setups as per requirements and environment.Execute test cases and validate test status based on expectations.Understand system logs, test tool logs, and use this understanding for debugging issues and identifying root causes.Identify overall improvements and enhancements using test expertise.Requirements:8-15 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or related field.Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of IMS Core Nodes, including P-CSCF, S-CSCF, TAS, IPSM-GW, MRFC, MRFP, BGCF, MGCF, I-SBC, DRA, HSS, SMSC.In-depth knowledge of IMS call flows as per 3GPPP.Good understanding of protocols like SIP, Diameter, REST, TCP/IP, DNS, MSRP.Experience with SS7 application level protocols (MAP/CAP/INAP) and product/capacity testing using simulators/scripting/open source tools.Hands-on experience in Test Strategy Preparation and Driving Testing Projects.Expertise in core network simulated tools like Spirent Landslide.Good understanding of NFVi Architecture and VNF Life Cycle Management.
