Motion Design Strategist

Job Title: Visual Storytelling DirectorWe are seeking an innovative and skilled Visual Storytelling Director to elevate the craft of motion design, CGI, and post-production within our global creative production hub.This role combines artistic vision with technical leadership, ensuring high-end delivery across motion graphics, special effects (SFX), visual effects (VFX), CGI, compositing, animation, color grading, and finishing. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of artists, animators, and editors who bring static campaigns to life — turning creative ideas into cinematic brand experiences for global clients across retail, digital, and life sciences.The key responsibilities include:Leading the end-to-end motion and post-production pipeline, from storyboard to final delivery.Driving excellence across 2D/3D animation, compositing, tracking, rotoscoping, color grading, and finishing.Collaborating closely with creative directors, producers, and account teams to interpret briefs into motion-first executions.Ensuring the highest visual fidelity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines across deliverables.Key Requirements:Expertise in motion graphics, VFX, CGI, and color workflows using industry-standard tools.Strong leadership and collaboration skills to direct and review the work of designers, compositors, and editors.Ability to introduce new motion design techniques, animation trends, and post-production workflows to enhance storytelling.Experience in supervising pack-shot adaptation, beauty retouching, and complex compositing across global campaigns.Knowledge of best practices and workflow templates for motion and post projects.Familiarity with rendering, file-management, and QC standards to ensure delivery consistency.Ability to partner with automation and technology teams to identify automation or AI-assisted opportunities.Management skills to oversee studio capacity, scheduling, and quality control for multiple simultaneous projects.Leadership skills to mentor and upskill a team of motion designers, compositors, colorists, and editors.Communication skills to drive internal training on new software, motion trends, and cinematic design principles.Ability to build a strong creative feedback culture and partner with recruitment to onboard top creative and technical talent.Collaboration skills to work with regional teams to align motion output with campaign needs and market nuances.Ability to engage in new business pitches and creative development discussions, providing technical insight and creative elevation.
