Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist – ZingHR SaaS Product & Cloud Architecture


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist to create detailed documentation, workflows, and architecture diagrams for ZingHR's SaaS product. The ideal candidate will analyse Statements of Work (SOWs), align customer needs with ZingHR's product offerings, and reduce customizations through optimized product configurations. This role demands experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, marketing tools, and the ability to support product marketing and technical teams with high-quality documentation.


Key Responsibilities:


Documentation Development & Technical Writing:


- Create and maintain user guides, manuals, and SOW-based documentation for ZingHR’s product suite.

- Develop high-level and low-level architecture diagrams and workflows tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Analyse customer SOWs and provide documentation that helps minimize customizations by mapping customer needs to ZingHR's existing product capabilities.

- Write detailed technical and functional specifications based on customer requirements and ZingHR's product architecture.


Cloud Architecture, Workflow Diagrams & Technical Documentation:


- Design cloud architecture diagrams for ZingHR implementations, focusing on AWS or Azure Cloud platforms.

- Create workflow diagrams that streamline the customer journey, from onboarding to full deployment of ZingHR solutions.

- Provide detailed technical documentation to ensure architecture aligns with ZingHR’s product roadmap.


Marketing Tools & Product Alignment:


- Collaborate with marketing teams to document product-related marketing strategies and use cases.

- Create and maintain content for marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo), ensuring alignment with ZingHR's SaaS product.

- Generate technical content for customer-facing documents, including brochures, case studies, and product briefs that align with ZingHR’s value proposition.


Knowledge Management & Online Help Systems:


- Manage and enhance ZingHR’s online help system and knowledge base for easy navigation and accessibility.

- Create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and collaborate on interactive tutorials to enhance user experience.

- Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure documentation facilitates smooth customer onboarding with minimal friction.


Collaboration & Communication:


- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless documentation.

- Participate in marketing campaigns by providing technical input to align product offerings with customer needs.

- Work with customer success teams to gather feedback and continuously improve ZingHR's documentation.


Quality Assurance & SEO Optimization:


- Proofread, edit, and maintain ZingHR documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

- Optimize technical content for search engine discoverability and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

- Maintain consistent templates, style guides, and documentation practices across ZingHR’s platforms.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in technical writing, cloud architecture, and product documentation for SaaS or IT products.

- Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud platforms.

- Expertise in creating high-level and low-level architecture diagrams and documenting technical workflows.

- Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) and CRM platforms.

- Ability to analyse and convert SOWs into actionable documentation, ensuring minimal product customizations.

- Knowledge of ZingHR products or similar HR technology solutions is a plus.

- Familiarity with visual tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator to create engaging content.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
