Job OverviewSenior Software Development Engineer TestWe are seeking a seasoned software development engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites that ensure the overall system quality.Create and maintain automated test cases, executes test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs.Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback.Work with the Engineering Teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes; work closely with software developers to create software artefacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.Test complex API and web-based applications that reference database back-end systems.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude. They will also have the ability to estimate own testing tasks and work independently.Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and provide regular progress updates to the engineering teams.Collaborate with software developers to identify and prioritize testing requirements.Document and maintain up-to-date records of all testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.BenefitsThis role offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that has significant cost savings on storage and eliminates downtime by preventing disk space issues.
