  • Experience in Database Administration, Monitoring, dump & load, and performance tuning
  • Experience in Progress Database backup and restoration strategy
  • Experienced in DR (Disaster Recovery ) strategy
  • Experience in Admin Server, NameServer, Appserver creation/configuration/maintenance & monitoring.
  • Experience in OS shell/bash scripting
  • Basic progress 4GL knowledge
  • Excellent Communication and Problem Solving Skills
  • Experience in Progress Version Migration and OS migration
  • Experience in Progress Dump and load ( sequetial, parallel and multithreaded )
  • Experience in Type1 to Type2 data conversion and performance tunning
