Safety Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our high-rise construction project team, specializing in Mivan technology. The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols across all construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on high-rise and Mivan construction projects.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience of relevant experience.
Specific Expertise: Exposure to high-rise residential Mivan type building projects

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
Knowledge of environmental safety practices and sustainability in construction.
Advanced training in Mivan construction safety practices.
Familiarity with safety standards specific to high-rise construction.
Experience in implementing safety protocols for complex, large-scale residential projects.
Knowledge of fire safety and evacuation procedures for high-rise buildings.

Required Skill Set:
Strong knowledge of local, local safety codes, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective safety measures.
Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols.
Conduct safety training sessions for site personnel, including new hires and subcontractors.
Develop and distribute safety bulletins, toolbox talks, and other educational materials.
Promote a safety-first culture by leading by example and encouraging safe work practices.
Respond promptly to safety incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety into all phases of construction.
Communicate safety expectations and updates to all site personnel.
Coordinate with external safety auditors and inspectors during site visits.
They need to identify any unsafe conditions or actions and ensure they are addressed immediately.
They are responsible for implementing the monthly safety activity plan.
