Job Overview:As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting function, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. You will also be involved in the preparation of tax filings and supporting schedules.Key Responsibilities:Manage month-end close processes including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statementsReview and analyze bookkeeping data across AP, AR, payroll entriesPrepare and review federal and state tax filings and supporting schedulesMaintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and documentationCoordinate with auditors and prepare audit-ready reportsAdvise leadership on tax planning, compliance, and financial controlsDevelop and refine accounting processes to improve accuracy and efficiencyRequirements:Active CPA license3 to 7 years experience in public accounting or in-house financeStrong knowledge of US GAAP and tax rulesHands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platformsAbility to work independently and communicate effectivelyExperience with multistate filings is an assetMust be available to start immediatelyPreferred Skills:Experience with tools like Gusto, BILL, Ramp, Dext, or NetsuiteBackground in real estate, ecommerce, or professional servicesExperience in fixing messy books or handling first-time auditsWhat We Offer:A dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.How to Apply:If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role, please submit your application.
