Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Management & Documentation department. Business Analyst who will play role of Product Owner and can contribute to our product team. The Product Owner must be a high energy individual capable of developing and leading our flagship product offering, Solumina, in both G8 and iSeries variants. This person will play a strategic role in the Use Case and User Story definition and delivery based on the Solumina product roadmap.


Product Owner must be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of MES solutions that drive efficiency and quality in manufacturing operations. This person will understand the needs of the business and ensuring that the MES system aligns with these requirements to optimize manufacturing processes.


The Product Owner will be a member of the Product Management team who manage the entire feature development process within an organization. Product Owners will then continue to act as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development departments and stakeholders. Product Owners work directly underneath Product Managers and oversee implementing updates, preferences and features established by Product Managers.


They will collaborate closely with both the scrum and product development departments to ensure the products meet specific objectives as outlined by stakeholders and clients. After product completion, the Product Owner will conduct a final review and submit their approval before releasing the product to clients.



Roles and Responsibilities:

· Analysis of business processes, and business system integration including the development of Use Cases and User Stories, Functional requirements, design specifications, and test plans which include process flow diagrams

· Should be able to work and complete the task with some supervision from Product Manager and Lead Product Owner

· Should be able to lead and direct the Sprint Team to deliver the Sprint goals and Product requirements.

· Product Owner is the accountable for Sprint Deliverables (Scope/Time/Quality) and report to PEG team if there is any discrepancy.

· Analyze and develop functional documentation detailing the usage of the software using multiple techniques: User/Customer persona, business process and workflow analysis.

· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed:

i) Business Requirements Documentation ii) Product Demos iii) Use Cases/Business Rules iv) GUI, Screen and Interface designs.

· Acquire knowledge of key areas of the product line, and work with the Product Manager to help train the customer, conduct workshop and supporting product development as needed.

· Support other Product Owners and Product Managers as required.

· May perform other duties as assigned.

· Should be able to adhere to process and procedures for Product Development and contribute on improvements.



Required Education/Experience:

· 2 to 3 years of Experience in manufacturing processes, information systems and system implementation methodologies like Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc).

· Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing and the related information systems, specifically in MES software pertaining to Planning, SQA, EQMS.

· Ability to document and convey business and system requirements in the form of process models and business flow.

· Good analytical skills to evaluate complex situations and deliver effective solutions.

· Show successful experience in gathering requirements and writing design specifications.

· Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills.

· Experience with relational database systems, specifically with Oracle, SQL Server and PL/SQL and JAVA is a strong plus.

· Good to have Certificate in Agile, Process Improvements like 6Sigma.

· Good to have experience working for Enterprise Product Development preferably with large scale product.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.
