you’ll be our: Regional Lead- Service Trainingyou’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bangaloreyou’ll be Aligned with: Training Lead-Serviceyou’ll be A member of: Service and SupportWhat will I be doing at Ather?You will train the service team in company owned & dealer owned service centers. You will also be a SPOC for a region and have technical trainers reporting to you. Since EV is new in the industry, your task will be to make them understand the functioning of an EV, how to safely service and maintain an EV. Also, you will fine tune their soft skills in alignment with the brand and culture of Ather.Your responsibilities include:Conducts Service New Hire Training, Service Practical Training, Charging Infrastructure Training & Vehicle Diagnostics TrainingManages training adherence and attendanceConduct and publish report on training participation, certification & performance for each new batch of New hire trainingManage the Service Training Center, including resource, tool, and trainer allocation; upkeep; availability of tools and inventory, etc.Maintain and update a knowledge management repository for all Vehicle Service and CI training modulesYou will be responsible for planning and conducting regular refresher training focused on Running Changes and CAFV Address queries from the local service teams in each city post trainingCreate service bulletins and maintain a repository of changes on CAFV and CRsTravel periodically to retail partners (RP) & Company owned- company operated (COCO) service centers based on business needsMentor and monitoring a team of Technical trainers reporting to youYou will be responsible for maintaining the Activity trackers for technical trainerResponsible for post training efficiency on shop floorCo-ordination with zonal team for training planningUnderstand the skill gaps in the field and also plan training activitiesWork with relevant parties to strategically plan and implement new training partnerships and expansion initiatives.Manage and schedule technical trainers' travel arrangements, ensuring full compliance with company policy.What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?Experienced Service Trainer: Minimum 2 years experience specifically in vehicle service training.Deep Technical Background: 4–8 years of hands-on vehicle service experience with a strong grasp of automobile systems, components, and electrical basics.CX-Focused Mentor: Ability to understand and teach critical soft skills to the service team to significantly enhance the customer experience (CX).Multilingual Communicator: Excellent communication skills are mandatory in English & Hindi, plus proficiency in at least one South Indian language.Proven Leader: Must have prior management experience with at least two direct reportees.Strategic Planning: Skill in assessing team performance/efficiency and prioritizing/scheduling training needs.Some attributes that you bring to this role?Exceptional Team Player and Good Listener: You are a collaborative force who thrives in a group setting, valuing input and contributing positively to team morale and outcomes.Patience and Dedication to Development: You have the patience to train, coach, and consistently work to bring the best out of every team member or candidate you mentor.Agile Mindset: You demonstrate strong adaptability & flexibility, coupled with an openness to learning new methods and technologies.Strategic Clarity: You possess clarity of thoughts, allowing you to communicate complex ideas simply and make sound decisions.Process Optimization Focus: You actively seek and explore possibilities to optimize service processes, aiming for higher efficiency and quality.Proven Leadership & Team Building: You exhibit good leadership qualities and are skilled in the art of team formation, fostering a cohesive and high-performing unit.Cross-Functional Partnership: Working with key stakeholders to refine content and elevate overall training effectiveness.What should I have graduated in?Work Experience : minimum 3years industry-experience as a trainer and 1 year of people management experience.
