Senior MEP Senior Engineer - Project Integration

Location: Delhi


Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer and Designer with 6-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate workplace projects and be proficient in the latest software tools to support our innovative design and project delivery methods, and have strong Global projects experience, North America, Europe or Middle East.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Engineering:

  • Monitor and design technical tasks for overall design and build projects, including Builder's Work, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for corporate interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Ensure designs meet all regulatory standards and client specifications. Ready to quickly learn and apply different location standards as per project needs.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.


2. Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with global project teams, particularly those based in the UK and USA, to ensure consistency and quality.


3. Software Proficiency:

  • Utilize Revit, ACC/BIM 360, and Navisworks for design and coordination.
  • Employ DDS CAD and AX3000 for specific MEP design tasks.
  • Ensure interoperability with IFC standards for seamless project integration.
  • Use Trimble Connect for effective project collaboration and management.


4. Technical Expertise:

  • Knowledge on Control and Instrumentation systems with experience working on integration of lighting, HVAC controls, smart office systems, and other automated building management technologies into interior spaces.
  • Conduct energy modelling and sustainability assessments for projects.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve MEP coordination issues.


5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documents and reports.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BoQs).
  • Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in MEP engineering, with a focus on corporate interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, ACC/BIM 360, IFC interoperability, DDS CAD, AX3000, Navisworks, and Trimble Connect.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Preferred Experience: Exposure to global projects, particularly in the UK and USA, is an added advantage.
  • Other Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
