Role Description


  • This is a full-time Senior Food Technologist role at Amreno India Pvt Ltd in Delhi/NCR with flexibility for some remote work.
  • The Senior Food Technologist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to food product development, quality control, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research, and leading projects to innovate and improve food products.
  • Modify existing products and processes and develop new ones
  • Check and improve safety and quality control procedures in your own and suppliers' factories, from the raw material stage to the finished product
  • Research current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts
  • Select raw materials and other ingredients from suppliers
  • Prepare product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products
  • Run trials of new products - either alongside or together with product development
  • Compile, check and approve product specifications and labelling
  • Conduct experiments and produce sample products
  • Design the processes and machinery for making products with a consistent flavour, colour and texture in large quantities
  • Ensure products are profitable.
  • Adhere the products meets or manufactured as per the Fssai guidelines.

Qualifications


  • BE/BTech/MTech or any other relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5-10 Years of Experience as Food Technologist in Syrups, Crushes, Frappe, Chocolate Sauce, Cocoa Powder processing and Manufacturing ( preferred)
  • Strong Knowledge of beverage Applications, Formulations, manufacturing processes & Troubleshooting.
  • Experience with market products manufacturing processes and Development, Research and Development
  • Strong background in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
  • Experience in food product development, quality control, and food safety regulations
  • Knowledge of food processing techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Advanced degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is a plus
  • Certifications in food safety and quality control are desirable
