We are looking for a Brokerage Head of TradingJob Description involves leading and overseeing trading operations, managing risk, and ensuring profitability. Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree, experience in trading or brokerage, strong analytical and leadership skills, and relevant licenses.Key responsibilities- Strategic and operational leadership:- Develop and implement the firm's trading strategy.- Oversee all trading activities to ensure profitable operation.- Manage market, credit, and liquidity risks, and enforce risk limits.- Ensure all trading systems are functioning properly and risk controls are in place.- Team and personnel management:- Supervise, mentor, and train traders and other staff.- Recruit and evaluate employees.- Manage performance and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.- Compliance and reporting:- Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.- Manage and update transactional reporting processes in line with regulatory changes.- Monitor and report on trading activities and performance to senior leadership.- Client and market management:- Monitor client trading activity and provide insights to clients.- Ensure top-level liquidity by managing relationships with providers.- Adjust pricing based on market conditions and liquidity availability.Key qualifications- Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is typically required.- Experience: Several years of experience in trading, brokerage operations, or a similar leadership role is essential.- Licensing: Must hold necessary licenses, such as the FINRA Series 7 and 63 in the United States.- Skills:- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management.- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.- Proficiency with trading software and platforms.- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
