Cyber Security Specialist Job OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the role of Cyber Forensic Analyst. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting cybercrime investigations by collecting, preserving, and analysing digital evidence, identifying electronic devices, and conducting forensic data analysis.This role involves working closely with law enforcement and investigative teams to support cases related to cybercrime.Key Responsibilities:Assist investigating officers in cybercrime cases by providing expert advice and guidance.Collect, preserve, and analyse digital evidence from various sources, including computers, mobile devices, and other electronic devices.Identify and examine electronic devices involved in criminal activity, using industry-standard tools and methodologies.Retrieve and recover data from damaged, encrypted, or hidden sources, ensuring the integrity of the evidence.Perform forensic analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies, documenting findings and preparing detailed forensic reports.Maintain the chain of custody and ensure the integrity of the evidence throughout the investigation process.Support and carry out any other forensic tasks as assigned by the competent authority.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cyber forensics or related fields.Strong understanding of cybercrime methodologies and digital evidence, including the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence.Hands-on experience with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, X-Ways, Cellebrite, etc.Proficient in digital data recovery and analysis, including the ability to recover data from damaged or encrypted sources.Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and mobile platforms.Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information discreetly.Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (B.A./M.A./ BE / B.Tech / M. Tech/MCA/BCA/B.SC/M.Sc.)Preferred Attributes:Certifications such as CHFI, CCE, GCFA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
