Advanced Technical Product Specialist

This individual will focus on elevating the broader customer experience and having a profound impact on process, product, and team. As part of our Enterprise Support team, you'll be responsible for providing advanced support and product expertise to our largest customers.The ideal candidate will possess:8+ years of experience in Java support, software services, and system administration for a large end-user communityExperience with operating systems (e.g. Linux, OS X, and Windows)Subject Matter Expertise in multiple Atlassian products and ability to identify knowledge opportunities when new technologies are includedExcellent communication skills to convey technical details, progress, and next steps to executive-level customersAbility to solve complex tickets, summarize causes, recommend solutions, and escalate as neededCoaching skills to guide others on technical, soft skills, and behavioral interviewsExperience working with enterprise customers and ability to assist global teammates in driving long-running tickets to resolutionFamiliarity with networks and technologies, including proxies, load balancers, LDAP, Active Directory, SSLUnderstanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, JBoss)Experience with SQL databases and escalation handlingAt Atlassian, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health and wellbeing resourcesPaid volunteer daysFlexible work arrangementsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentOur distributed-first company culture enables us to hire talented individuals from all over the world.
