Climate Smart Dairy ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled Climate Smart Dairy Professional to support multi-disciplinary science and research initiatives on climate smart dairy in India. About the Role The ideal candidate will support enhancing scientific and technical collaboration and research, and partner engagement across the livestock and dairy sectors in India. This role requires a liaison with key partners to ensure alignment on science and research priorities. The successful candidate will provide technical and scientific support to implementation partners, contribute to landscape assessments of challenges in target geographies, and represent our organization at in-person meetings and events. Key Responsibilities Supporting the development and implementation of research projects related to climate smart dairy in India. Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, and industry experts. Providing expertise on climate change impacts on dairy farming systems and developing strategies for mitigation and adaptation. Conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, and stakeholder consultations to identify areas for improvement in climate smart dairy practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in climate smart agriculture, sustainable development, or a related field. Strong knowledge of climate change impacts on agricultural systems and experience in developing climate-resilient agricultural practices.
