Sourcing Executive Role We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Executive to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process for apparel products. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Management: IDentify and evaluate suppliers who can meet our quality, cost, and capacity requirements. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with existing suppliers to ensure reliability and consistent product quality. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or non-compliance. OTIF Management : Ensure timely delivery of products on launch dates. Pursue and recover all money due from vendors as a result of performance penalties or markdown and promotional contributions. Continuously review and optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency. Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining product quality. Analyze market trends and work with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement. Optimize procurement strategies to reduce costs. Quality Control: Set and maintain strict quality standards for apparel products. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure products meet quality specifications and conduct inspections when necessary. Implement quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers. Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sourcing plan for apparel business aligned with company goals. Monitor market dynamics and global trends to make informed decisions about sourcing locations and strategies. Manage lead times, inventory levels, and order quantities to meet demand. Risk Management: IDentify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Stay updated on global trade regulations and compliance requirements for the apparel industry. Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to international standards. Vendor Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers. Evaluate and negotiate favorable contract terms.
