Job Title: Manager – Global Sales
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager – Global Sales to spearhead sales strategies, drive market expansion, and manage high-value client relationships across the global markets. This pivotal role requires expertise in IT and engineering services. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in identifying opportunities, managing end-to-end sales processes, and achieving business growth in diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
Experience: 8–10 years of designing and executing sales strategies for global markets, with a special focus on North America, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities as IT services across industries such as in any Healthcare, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance ( BFSI), Manufacturing, and Telecom etc. Another industry we need to focus on is MSPs to provide White Label support to them. With the offerings for full time, part time and project based services related to Windows System Administrator, Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer, SOC Analyst, TRIAGE, HelpDesk, Backup Management on resource basis and subscription model as well. Another industry and vertical to focus on to expand the company's footprint in sectors like Kitchen & Bath, Countertops, Natural Stone & Tile, Roofing & Siding, Interior Design, Architecture & Engineering, Manufacturing and more for engineering services on dedicated, project basis, adhoc – hourly basis as well. Establish partnerships with Fortune 5000 companies, startups, and service providers in high-growth industries.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to client acquisition, account management, and retention.
Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives (CEOs, CTOs, VPs) and other key decision-makers.
Highlight the organization’s expertise in supply chain analytics, digital transformation, and advanced cognition solutions.
3. Engagement Models & Service Delivery
Propose and implement flexible engagement models, including time-and-material, managed services, and subscription-based solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with offerings in services domain we are catering in.
4. Revenue Generation & Upselling
Focus on high-growth accounts to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across diverse client portfolios.
5. Team Leadership
Mentor and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented work culture aligned with the company’s vision.
6. Sales Performance Management
Sales Performance Management (SPM) involves processes and tools to monitor, analyze, and enhance sales team performance. It includes setting clear objectives, tracking progress, managing incentives, and providing actionable insights. SPM ensures alignment between organizational goals and sales efforts, driving productivity and revenue growth. By leveraging analytics and automation, it streamlines decision-making and fosters a results-driven culture.
7. Sales forecast
Sales forecasting involves predicting future sales based on historical data, market trends, and current sales activity. It helps businesses set realistic goals, allocate resources effectively, and plan strategies to meet revenue targets. Accurate forecasting enables proactive decision-making and minimizes risks by anticipating demand fluctuations. It is a critical tool for aligning sales and business activities to reach the organizational goal.
8. Setting sales goals and achieving it with strategic planning
Setting sales goals and achieving them through strategic planning involves defining clear, measurable targets and developing actionable plans to meet them. This includes analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and allocating resources effectively. Strategic planning ensures alignment between sales efforts and business objectives, enabling teams to track progress and adapt to challenges. It fosters a focused, results-oriented approach to achieving sustained growth.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 10+ years in global sales leadership roles within IT and engineering services.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of targeted industries and technology services.
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with global clients and stakeholders.
Strategic Mindset: Exceptional skills in designing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Candidates having a USA Visa will be preferred.
