Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary:As a Technical Solutions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and quality support to customers in India. You will be responsible for guiding design-in teams, product development engineers, and quality teams on automotive and general illumination products.This position requires an in-depth understanding of automotive quality knowledge, hands-on engineering skills, and excellent coordination with internal global teams.Develop strong relationships with customers' design teams, product development engineers, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of Lumileds products.Serve as the primary technical interface for Automotive Lighting and General Illumination OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and Setmakers.Promote Lumileds solutions, identify application opportunities, and drive new business development.Analyze customer queries related to FMEA, DVPR, Safe Launch Plan, Control Plan, PPAP, and change management.Facilitate communication between customers and Lumileds' global engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.Detect and address quality trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).Support customer audits (IATF16949, ISO9001) and internal QMS initiatives.Maintain Product Change Notifications (PCN) and Product Termination Notices (PTN).Support customer Safe Launch and early-life production activities.Voice customer concerns internally to ensure product performance and quality reliability.Compile and present technical documentation, reports, and failure analyses.
