About the Role:

Position Title: Hardware and Software Asset Manager (ServiceNow)

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an ITAM ServiceNow AVP to support the implementation, configuration, and day-to-day operations of IT Asset Management processes on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will work closely with IT, procurement, and business teams to ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and optimization of IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain ServiceNow IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM Pro) modules.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement).
• Perform data management: asset records, reconciliation, and maintaining accuracy in the CMDB.
• Assist in software license compliance activities, including tracking, audits, and optimization.
• Run discovery and reconciliation jobs to ensure asset data integrity.
• Generate standard and ad-hoc asset reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with platform teams for enhancements, integrations, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with ITAM policies, security, and audit requirements.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, with at least 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow ITAM experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM modules.
• Good knowledge of hardware lifecycle management and software license models.
• Basic understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Request).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS–HAM / CIS–SAM).
• Experience with cloud/SaaS asset management.
• Knowledge of financial management/chargeback models.
