Senior Software Engineer PositionYou will be working with the Linux kernel and embedded systems, responsible for implementing complex features and upgrading the OS to new kernel versions.As a senior software engineer, you will work autonomously and manage your own time according to commitments and priorities. You will also provide assistance to more junior engineers to ensure their work meets security standards.This is a remote job that requires a strong networking background and a superb understanding of Linux based embedded systems.Work will involve collaboration with globally distributed teams using Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.Responsibilities include resolving difficult technical problems and implementing solutions that meet strict security standards.Our team uses JIRA for project management, Confluence for documentation, and Agile Methodologies for iterative development. Experience with these tools is required.Required skills include expertise in Linux kernel development, C/C++ programming, and proficiency in Python. Experience with version control systems like Git is necessary.Additional responsibilities may include mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
