Senior Finance Executive

What will you be doing?
1. Strategic Financial Management:
oDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s
goals and objectives.
oLead long-term financial planning and risk management initiatives.
oEnsure effective financial decision-making to support business growth.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
oOversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including
profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
oConduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for
improvement.
oPrepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
oLead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and
market conditions.
oConduct financial forecasting to guide strategic planning and resource
allocation.
oMonitor and report on budget performance, addressing any variances.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
oEnsure compliance with local and international financial regulations and
standards.
oDevelop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
oLiaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
5. Contract Management:
oOversee contracts with Clients & Vendors
oIdentify & implement risk management measures in consultation
6. Tax Compliance:
oOversee all aspects of tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other
statutory requirements.
oEnsure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, income tax returns, and
other mandatory filings.
oManage tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues or disputes.
oStay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing
compliance.
7. Investment and Capital Management:
oManage the company’s investment portfolio and make strategic investment
decisions.
oOversee capital structure and funding strategies to support business
operations.
8. Cost Control and Efficiency:
oIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency
improvements.
oImplement process improvements and financial controls to enhance
profitability.
oMonitor and manage operational expenses to ensure financial sustainability.
9. Team Leadership and Development:
oLead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and professional development.
oCollaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
and initiatives.
oEnsure the finance team remains up-to-date with industry trends and best
practices.
10. Stakeholder Communication:
oPresent financial results and strategic recommendations to the seniors
oAct as the primary point of contact for financial matters with investors,
banks, and other external stakeholders.
oCommunicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 Education:
oQualified Chartered Account (CA)
 Experience:
oMinimum of 6-8 years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably
within the IT consulting or technology sector.
oProven track record in financial & compliance management, strategic
planning, and risk management.
 Technical Skills:
oProficiency in financial software (working knowledge in Zoho Modules
desirable), ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
oStrong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and
industry-specific financial practices.
oIn-depth knowledge of GST, income tax, and other statutory compliance
requirements in India.
 Analytical and Strategic Thinking:
oExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
oAbility to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights and
recommendations.
 Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
oStrong presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to
diverse audiences.
 Leadership and Team Management:
oProven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and
performance management.
oAbility to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-
driven environment.
