Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Create and maintain technical and commercial database for equipment sizing and costing.
  • Work on proposal standardization, developing standard design calculations including sizing, utility data & BOQs
  • Interact with consultants/vendors/contractors for obtaining quotations (parts and equipment)
  • Building and implementing standardization Excel tools based on design calculations and standard PIDs
  • Co-ordinate and work with web app developers for developing water treatment design software.
  • Drive RFP/RFQ process and responses through all stages, including process planning, technical review, milestone schedules, content collection and development, formatting and layout, pricing
  • To prepare technical and commercial clarification post review of tender documents /RFQs
  • Work closely with Applications & Proposal department to get inputs for design and scheme.
  • Coordinate, and assist in the process engineering design, and production of specifications for proposals in association with mechanical, electrical, and Process Engineering
  • Direct draftsman in the preparing of tender drawings and confirm compliance with overall design.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and assist in the writing of reports, technical write-ups, data sheets, and process plant descriptions for tenders.
  • To prepare cost estimates for assigned project tender and risk review and conclude the technical and commercial proposals for submission.
  • Able to support in preparing Process control narratives, SOP and O&M manuals.
  • Technical support for new product development and new process /technology evaluation.
  • Able to support in preparing in process description, SOP and O&M manuals.


Requirements:


  • BE/MTech degree in chemical/Environmental engineering or related field from reputed institute.
  • Minimum 4-8 years related experience in the detailed process design calculations, and documentation of medium to large-sized municipal water/wastewater treatment/ ZLD/ Desal/ ETP facilities.
  • Knowledge in Wave, ROSA, Dupont, Hydra any other RO, ion exchange software design tools.
  • Positive team- and client-focused attitude directed towards delivering quality work on time and within budget.
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of using Excel spreadsheet, word processing, PPT and standard office software.
  • The experience in different Process design, Knowledge in design of various UPW process like UF, RO, Softener, DM plants, Carbon filter, MMF, Cartridge filter, EDI & UV etc for industrial process water applications. also experience in different physiochemical and biological system design for ETP.
  • Highly experience in detail designing of different water treatment processes. Experience in food, pharma, dairy, textile, chemical industrial wastewater etc will be an added advantage.
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects at a time and meet project schedules.
  • Experience developing/understanding and review of process flow diagram and Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), plant layout drawings, civil/equipment 2D/3D drawings.
  • Knowledge of selection all types of electromechanical equipment’s, instruments, and process control requirement
  • Experience in Hydraulic calculations, mass balance, pump head, pressure drop calculation are required.
