Job OverviewConstruction Accounting ManagerSeeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Accounting Manager to oversee the financial accounting functions within our company. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.This role requires excellent analytical and quantitative skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintenance of fiscal discipline.The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the overall success of construction projects by providing insightful financial analysis and guidance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and coordinate the construction draw process.Manage yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for tax preparers and auditors.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.Requirements:CA / CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate / construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Must have excellent work ethic, high integrity, and excellent follow-up skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision making.
