Role Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our Pan India collection efforts. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s receivables, ensuring timely collections, maintaining strong customer relationships, and streamlining the AR process to align with the company’s financial goals. This role will work closely with the finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure accurate billing, resolve customer disputes, and improve cash flow.Ideal Experience: Atleast 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit management with atleast 2 years in a managerial role.Roles and Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable ManagementOversee the entire AR function, including invoice accuracy, customer payment processing, and account reconciliations.Develop and maintain robust AR policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.Collections & Dispute ResolutionEnsure timely collections from customers while maintaining positive relationships.Resolve disputes or issues related to billing, payment terms, and other AR concerns promptly.Customer Relationship ManagementServe as the main point of contact for AR-related queries from customers and internal stakeholders.Build strong customer relationships to facilitate timely payments and minimize overdue accounts.Reporting & AnalysisPrepare regular AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and performance metrics.Analyze AR trends and recommend strategies to optimize collections and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).Team Leadership & CollaborationManage and mentor a team of AR professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure alignment on customer accounts, credit terms, and policies.Compliance & Audit SupportEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.Assist in internal and external audits related to AR.Key Skills & Attributes:Strong understanding of accounting principles, AR processes, and financial controls.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage teams and work collaboratively across departments.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
