Job Title: Senior Shopify POS UI DeveloperDescription:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify POS UI development, with experience in designing, developing, and leading the delivery of Shopify POS UI Extensions across multiple retail use cases.Key responsibilities include building modern POS experiences using React, TypeScript, and native POS UI Extension components, as well as upgrading and migrating older POS UI extension versions to the newest APIs & components, handling breaking changes and rollout strategy.Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for integrating with Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL/REST), Webhooks, App Bridge, and optional Remix/Node.js services, configuring and optimizing Smart Grid layouts based on store, location, or role requirements, and collaborating with Shopify Plus Support for issue resolution and assessing impact of ongoing platform releases.Requirements:8+ years overall IT experience3+ years direct experience in Shopify POS / E-commerce for large retail organizations (>$500M revenue)3–5 years hands-on experience with:Shopify POS UI ExtensionsShopify App BridgeShopify Admin APIs (REST & GraphQL)Technical Expertise:Advanced skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3Knowledge of Liquid templating and Shopify Polaris for Admin UI developmentPreferred Qualifications:Proven track record of delivering high-quality POS UI ExtensionsStrong understanding of Shopify's API and ecosystemBenefits:Competitive salaryOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter for consideration.
