Business Operation Coordinator (JUNIOR LEVEL)

Role Description
· Responsible for coordinating and planning various operational activities within an organization.
· Identifies areas for process improvement and works with the team to implement changes that enhance operational efficiency. This may involve streamlining procedures, optimizing workflows, and identifying bottlenecks.
· Acts as a liaison between different departments or teams, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration. They may need to coordinate with vendors, suppliers, or clients to ensure seamless operations.
· Involved in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to operational activities. To prepare the reports and presentations to provide insights and recommendations for improving operations.
· Responsible for managing resources, such as personnel, equipment, and supplies, to ensure efficient operations. This may involve coordinating schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying resource needs.
· Guiding new joiners as part of their on-boarding journey, including asset allocation & setup, ID provisioning, buddy allocation, etc.
· Helps in identifying solutions for operational roadblocks and to resolve problems in a timely manner. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
· Maintaining accurate records and documentation for operational activities and ensuring compliance to procedures.
· Responsible for creating and updating documents, such as standard operating procedures, manuals, or reports.
Experience, skills, education
- Must have bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years of prior experience in supporting the Business/Sales Operations.
- Must have analytical and problem-solving mindset, with an outcome-oriented attitude.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- The ability to independently, proactively, and effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- A high level of motivation, adaptability, curiosity, and the capability to deal with pressure positively.
- The ability to consistently project a friendly, upbeat, professional attitude and image.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with specific expertise with Excel reporting, pivot tables, etc.
- Ability to facilitate and participate in client / partner meetings or events.
- Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
Location
- The role location is Chennai.
- Ability and willingness to travel will be essential.
