About the RoleImpact you will make The Agile Transformation team at FinThrive has an immediate need for a Scrum Master/ Agile Project Manager to join their team working with scrum teams in the Healthcare business unit. This position will be a permanent full-time position. The successful Scrum Master/ Agile Project Manager will understand the general principles of Agile as outlined in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and be fully aligned to those principles.What you will doMentor and coach the teams on Agile methodology and Scrum values and processFacilitate quarterly planning and sprint planning processes, as well as all other scrum ceremonies, and empower team commitment to quarterly plan and sprint deliveryParticipate in longer-term roadmap planning (quarterly plan+)Ensure that release deliverables are submitted and that quality standards defined by the team are consistently met (per acceptance criteria and definition of done)Facilitate and organize daily stand-up meetings, iteration sizing and planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviewsCollaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Technical Owners to plan releases and ensure backlog maintenanceTrack scrum team velocity and plans accordinglyIdentify and remove any impediments or obstacles that prevent the delivery team from attaining iteration goalsReport schedule progress, team status, team metrics, and issues to senior managementMentor and educate the Scrum team and stakeholders on the practical benefits of Agile/Scrum processesCultivate a team that recognizes the value of Agile development and use that recognition to improveFoster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovationAid delivery team with determining suitable commitments for user stories, defects, and taskingCoordinate and schedule the execution of deliverables across multiple teamsProtect time allocated to Scrum team to explore innovative solutions to business and technical problemsPrioritize technical debtChampion continuous improvements in processes and development techniques applied by the delivery team and the entire development organization by collaborating with other Scrum Masters and the Agile organization Monitor and track quarterly plan milestones and facilitate mitigation of issues and risksMonitor the effectiveness of Scrum team processes and performance and collaborate with the team on changes and improvementsWhat you will bringA bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required4+ years experience working with and coaching scrum teams6+ years of relevant Information Technology experience in Healthcare is a plusPrior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies and Agile at Enterprise ScaleCertification(s) in Agile methodologies (PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, SA, SASM or equivalent) preferredStrong facilitation and collaboration skillsComfortable with using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc., to track, plan, and evaluate sprint/ release work, velocity, burndown charts, etc.Familiar with collaborative tools and understanding how to communicate risks, issues, and mitigations to the team and provide timely resolutionsAbout FinThriveFinThrive is advancing the healthcare economy.For the most recent information on FinThrive's vision for healthcare revenue management visit Award-winning Culture of Customer-centricity and ReliabilityAt FinThrive we're proud of our agile and committed culture, which makes FinThrive an exceptional place to work.
