Workday Core HCM Consultant Job DescriptionAre you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging opportunity to leverage your expertise in Workday HCM? We are seeking a skilled consultant with experience in implementing and supporting Workday HCM solutions.This role involves working independently as a consultant on multiple client engagements, understanding client business requirements, and providing guidance throughout design, configuration, and prototype. You will also support clients during Annual Events such as Annual Talent/Performance, Merit, Open Enrollment, ACA, etc. as needed.Key Responsibilities:Deliver holistic solutions for customers looking to maximize their Workday investment and elevate the user experience.Ensure successful production support for HCM and one or more additional modules under the HCM umbrella.Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status, changes, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment.Maintain forecast in a timely manner.Partner with the Sales team and serve as a Subject Matter Expert while assisting with sales presentations, demos, and LOEs.Stay up to date on industry knowledge, Workday enhancements, and advise on Workday best practices.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ Year of experience as a Workday HCM Consultant at a Workday partner firm is required.HCM Core Workday Partner Certification is required.The following Workday Partner Certifications are preferred: Talent, Learning, PEX, Advanced Comp, Recruiting, Benefits and Launch.Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Workday Launch certification.All required Workday Partner certifications must remain in Active status throughout employment.Must have experience troubleshooting or navigating Workday Security and be able to build custom reports.Strong organizational skills are required. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a detailed understanding of Workday HCM processes and best practices.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, coupled with a desire to have fun while building something new.Benefits:Remote work option available.We value our employees' growth and development and offer opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
