Role Overview

The JDE Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing JD Edwards (JDE) ERP activities during organizational transitions such as mergers, acquisitions, and company spin-offs. This includes end-to-end process mapping, configuration, data migration, compliance, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Transition Planning & Execution:
• Design and implement JDE processes for company separation, including inactivation of accounts, closure of company codes, and data extraction strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of divestiture and ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements
• Finance Module Expertise:
• Configure and support modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.
• Handle intercompany settlements, period-end closures, and reporting requirements
  • Data Migration & Integration:
  • Lead historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities.
  • Ensure seamless integration with systems like SAP, Hyperion, and EBS during transitions
    • Security & Compliance:
    • Implement SOX-compliant security using tools like All Out.
    • Generate and review SOD, sensitive access, and firefighting ID reports
      • Documentation & Training:
      • Prepare as-is/to-be process documents, runbooks, and training materials.
      • Conduct user training and create self-help documentation to reduce support tickets

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–15 years of experience in JD Edwards ERP with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules.
• Proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project.
• Strong understanding of JDE configuration, data structures, and integration points.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, audit readiness).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Role Overview

The JD Edwards S&D Functional Consultant will lead and support ERP activities focused on Sales & Distribution during organizational transitions such as company separations, mergers, or acquisitions. The role demands deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and hands-on experience in project execution across multiple modules. To manage interface.

Key Responsibilities

Transition Planning & Execution

• Design and implement JDE processes for divestiture scenarios including customer/supplier master segregation, order closure, and data handover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and ensure compliance with business and legal requirements

Sales & Distribution Expertise

• Configure and support modules such as:
• Sales Order Management (O2C)
• Purchase Order Processing (P2P)
• Inventory Management
• Advanced Pricing and Preferences
• Handle intercompany transactions (ST-OT, SK-OK, SD-OD), returns, and transfer orders

Integration & Data Migration

• Lead data migration efforts for customer/supplier records and transactional history.
• Ensure seamless integration with Finance modules and third-party systems

Documentation & Testing

• Prepare AS-IS/TO-BE process documents, functional specs, test scenarios, and training materials.
• Conduct CRP, UAT, and post-Go-Live support

Compliance & Reporting

• Implement SOX-compliant controls and audit readiness.
• Support EDI inbound/outbound processes for different interface like DSI, AAF, 3PL,BLUESHIFT,MDG,CFIN etc.
