Position Description Business Division: Agri- FormulationDepartment: FormulationLocation: UdaipurPosition Title: Chemist / Sr ChemistReporting to (Title): ManagerLEVEL: A2 - E1Position PurposeThe Position will be responsible for formulation development, prepration of sample and to provide basic data to supervisor for smooth functioning of formulation development activityThis would include arrangement of raw material/ material from store, maintain equipment/ instrument and records as per requirementTo maintain good House keeping and 5S activity in lab Strategic ResponsibilitiesMaintain document/ record for trials conducted.Participation in the meetings & provide inputs as & when required by Deptartment head. Operational ResponsibilitiesRM Arrangement from storeCalculations for execution of experimentConducting trials as per supervisor instruction and maintanin its record/observationProvide backup calculation & data for ExperimentsEquipment handling and maintenance Financial Responsibilities People ResponsibilitiesTo attend training programs for safety, equipment/instrument handlingCoordination with kilo lab / pilot plant/ R&D / QC for day to day activityEnsure smooth working of the department to maintain high morale of the workforce Education Qualification M.Sc Chemistry (Preferred – Agrochemical and Pesticides) Work Experience 0 – 3 years Industry to be Hired from Agrochemical / Chemical Functional CompetenciesKnowledge of the major formulation types used in agrochemicals (EC, SC, OD, SL, WDG, WP) etc.Research ApproachConducting trials in the kilo/pilot plant.Broad knowledge of experimental chemical techniques with background knowledge of formulation development within the crop protection industry Interaction Complexity and Team Work InteractionFrequencyPurpose of InteractionInternal: Manager or Executive in the Lab or Pilot plantInternal Heads & Managers of other DeptDailyas and when requiredExternal: Not applicable
