The candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, assisting users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.Key Responsibilities- Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and basic applications (MS Office, browsers, email clients, etc.).- Handle network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, basic router/switch configurations).- Support users via phone, email, or in person, and log issues in the ticketing system.- Assist with system upgrades, patch installations, and antivirus updates.- Perform routine maintenance such as system health checks, backup checks, and device installations.- Coordinate with senior engineers or vendors for unresolved issues.- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure adherence to IT policies.Required Skills & Qualifications- Diploma/Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.- Basic understanding of:- Windows OS and MS Office- Hardware components and troubleshooting- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)- Strong communication and customer-service skills.- Ability to learn quickly and follow processes.Preferred (Good to Have)- Certification such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft MCP.- Experience with any ticketing tool (ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, etc.).- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (user creation, password reset).Work Environment- On-site role based in Gurgaon.- May require rotational shifts depending on business needs.
