Design Management PositionThe role of Design Manager involves overseeing all aspects of design and creative output. This includes ensuring that design and creative deliverables meet client expectations and are executed within stipulated timeframes.Main Responsibilities:Layout Planning and Interior Designing: Conceptualize and plan the layout and interior designing of commercial and residential spaces, adhering to defined timelines.Team Management: Lead a team of interior designers and 3D visualizers to deliver drawings and designs as per client requirements and budget.Client Engagement and Project Coordination: Understand client requirements, engage with clients, and handle projects from start to end, coordinating with internal procurement and site execution teams for smooth project functioning.Material Selection and Approval: Select material finishes to be used or applied and obtain approval from clients.Scheduling and Coordination: Create schedules for projects, including furniture, general, and decorative light fixtures, carpets, etc., and coordinate with graphic designers for creation of wallpaper designs and other graphic elements as per client feedback.Working Drawings and Site Coordination: Prepare working drawings/technical drawings and coordinate their implementation at the site for execution.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in designing corporate and residential spaces, with knowledge of interior elements and building structures.Design Sense: Strong design sense and ability to conceptualize unique designs.Code Knowledge: Well-versed with design codes followed in different states of the USA.Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet daily, weekly, and long-term goals.Leadership: Track record of delivering outstanding high-quality designs and leading teams on high-profile projects.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong persuasive communication, and excellent verbal presentation skills to communicate design concepts to clients.Problem-Solving: Process-oriented, ambitious out-of-the-box approach with an ability to motivate team members, excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge: Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details, client engagement, and technical drawings.Multitasking: Multi-tasking ability and attention to detail.Skills:Drafting skills - Proficient in AutocadQuantity Assessment - Proficient in MS ExcelPhotoshop, Sketchup / 3DS-MaxDesign conceptualization writingProject pitch presentations
