As a key player in our organisation's tax strategy, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns. Your duties will include reviewing GST reconciliations to identify discrepancies, addressing mismatches, monitoring Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and utilisation, and overseeing RCM compliance.You will provide valuable tax advisory services on business transactions and contracts, analyse the impact of GST amendments, and evaluate implications of reverse charge and job work requirements.In addition, you will handle GST audits, prepare responses to notices and queries from tax authorities, and coordinate with consultants and legal counsel for departmental litigation matters.You will also streamline tax processes, implement automation through SAP, and maintain documentation and tax records as per legal requirements.Apart from GST, experience in handling litigation under erstwhile IDT law is an added advantage.
