Senior Accountant Job DescriptionGrow Your Career as a Senior US Accountant in our Team.This is a full-time remote position with excellent growth opportunities, ideal for an experienced professional looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior US Accountant to oversee financial operations, manage accounting cycles, and provide expert guidance to leadership. The successful candidate will have expertise in QuickBooks Online, Google Suite, and US GAAP, as well as strong knowledge of federal & state tax regulations and compliance frameworks.Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end accounting cycles, including AR/AP, GL, inventory, and financial reporting.Prepare accurate estimates, invoices, credit memos, purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconciliations for vendor and customer accounts.Lead monthly financial closing and deliver financial reports within defined timelines.Perform journal entries, accrual accounting tasks, and support external accounting firms for quarterly and annual tax filings.Monitor company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance; generate assigned financial and operational reports.Provide financial guidance to leadership and coach junior staff on financial data to support better decision-making.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations.Participate in weekly learning pathways to maintain technical knowledge.Required Skills and QualificationsExpertise in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite.Strong understanding of US GAAP, federal & state tax regulations, and US compliance frameworks.Experience managing end-to-end accounting cycles, including AR/AP, GL, inventory, and financial reporting.Familiarity with restaurant/retail-style accounting structures (preferred).
