Job Title: Assistant Professor for Airport and Airline Management Graduation Program

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Professor for our Airport and Airline Management Graduation Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a robust curriculum that prepares students for successful careers in the airport and airline management industry. This role involves close collaboration with academic staff and other instructors to ensure our program meets industry standards and provides students with an exceptional learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical exercises that align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Student Evaluation: Assess student progress through regular feedback, assessments, and exams, ensuring they meet learning objectives and industry requirements.
  • Industry Collaboration: Work with fellow instructors and academic staff to maintain a curriculum that is relevant and up-to-date with current industry trends.
  • Student Support: Provide ongoing guidance, career advice, and job placement assistance to students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in program development initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of our training offerings.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure the curriculum remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: MBA in Aviation or a relevant Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the airport and airline management industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry standards, regulations, and operational best practices.
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in an educational or professional training environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with academic staff and fellow instructors to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their professional goals.
  • Adult Learning Principles: Familiarity with adult learning principles and techniques is an asset.
