About the RoleOur team is seeking a skilled DevOps & Database Reliability Engineer to play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure reliability, database performance, and disaster recovery capabilities as we continue scaling our secure, cloud-native platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, automate, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systems.Manage and optimize MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases for performance, scalability, and reliability by analyzing system logs and implementing data integrity validations with minimal downtime.Implement ISO 27001:2022-aligned data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policies to ensure secure data storage.Establish and automate RTO/RPO validation and recovery testing in collaboration with DevSecOps and Compliance teams to ensure business continuity.Build automation for backup validation and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelines to streamline processes.Integrate data leakage prevention (DLP) and access control mechanisms into backup and replication flows to prevent data breaches.Maintain detailed architecture, DR documentation, and recovery runbooks for audit and operational readiness to ensure compliance standards.Partner with Engineering and Security teams to ensure resilient infrastructure aligned with ISO, SOC 2 standards.Continuously optimize storage costs while maintaining reliability and compliance standards.What You'll Bring:Expertise in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systems.Familiarity with optimizing database performance, scalability, and reliability.Knowledge of data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policies.Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelines.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity.Why Join Us:We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
