Senior React Native Engineer (Firebase | GCal | BigQuery)Experience: 7+ yearsSalary: CompetitiveWorking Hours: 10 AM to 7:30 PM IST (Monday to Friday)About the RoleWere looking for a Senior React Native Engineer who is highly self-managing, proactive, and able to contribute not just code but creative ideas and product insights.Your primary focus will be React Native and Firebase, with additional responsibilities across our web stack and data/analytics tools.This role also includes the ability to lead team members when we scale the team up or down on a project basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesBuild, optimize, and maintain our React Native applications.Manage and extend backend services using Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, etc.).Collaborate on architecture, product direction, and creative problem-solving.Work independently with minimal oversight and high accountability.Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintain and build features in Web applications (React, Next.js, or similar).Develop integrations with Google Calendar API.Build or maintain data pipelines using BigQuery.Support dashboards and analytics in Looker Studio.Lead and mentor developers during times when we scale the team.Required Skills & ExperienceCore Skills5–8+ years professional experience with React Native.Strong experience with Firebase (Cloud Functions, Firestore, Storage, Messaging, hosting, etc.).Ability to build scalable mobile architectures and reusable components.Comfortable shipping features independently end-to-end.Additional SkillsExperience with React or other modern Web frameworks.Familiarity with Google Cloud ecosystem (Google Calendar API, service accounts, BigQuery).Understanding of Looker Studio or other BI/dashboard tools.Ability to manage small teams or lead contractors when needed.Soft SkillsSelf-managing, proactive, and highly reliable.Strong problem-solver with a creative product mindset.Excellent communication skills.Adaptability to work in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.Nice to HaveExperience with TypeScript.Prior startup or small-team experience.UI/UX intuition or ability to collaborate closely with designers.Why Join Us?Opportunity to own core parts of the product.Flexible, impactful role with room for creativity.Collaborative environment with room to scale your leadership responsibilities.Role & responsibilities
