Job Description:Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Associate to strengthen our credit and deal execution capabilities.The successful candidate will have 7-8 years of relevant credit experience and work closely with the lending team.Prepare Clear Memos: Draft accurate and comprehensive credit memos for transactions, highlighting key financial information and potential risks.Review Loan Term Sheets: Prepare, review, and analyze loan term sheets to ensure alignment with company goals.Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial and credit analysis to support underwriting decisions, using industry-standard tools and methodologies.Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and assessing risks, providing recommendations to mitigate them and ensure compliance with regulations.Collaborate with Lending Team: Work with the lending team to ensure timely and efficient deal execution, maintaining open communication and coordination.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: 3–7 years of credit analysis / underwriting experience with financial institutions or investment managers.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals, including financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling.Writing Ability: Excellent writing skills and ability to prepare professional reports and memos, tailored to specific audiences and purposes.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools, as well as knowledge of industry-standard software and systems.Benefits:Remote Work Option: Fully remote position, based in India, with flexible working hours that align with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.Others:Exposure to real estate debt is highly preferred, but not required.
