Job Summary:This Senior US Accountant role is a full-time remote position with excellent growth opportunities.Responsibilities:Manage all core financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting.Prepare and maintain accurate estimates, invoices, credit memos, purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconciliations for both vendor and customer accounts.Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties; ensure timely tax filings and documentation for vendors and accountants.Lead monthly financial closing and deliver accurate financial reports within defined timelines.Perform journal entries, accrual accounting tasks, and support external accounting firms for quarterly and annual tax filings.Monitor company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance; generate assigned financial and operational reports.Provide financial guidance to leadership and coach junior staff on financial data to support better decision-making.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations.Participate in weekly learning pathways to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.Uphold company values and demonstrate strong professional and interpersonal skills.Perform additional duties as needed to support the finance team and wider organisation.
